It's not every day that you stumble back in time on a wedding day, but that is exactly what it feels like at Cranberry Creek Gardens in Delhi, Ontario. This is not without a great level of intention and thoughtfulness put into every detail. From the moment you drive up, whether to the beautiful Salon or to the quaint Chapel, you can tell you are in a place that really is meant to stir up feelings of something like nostalgia, but that's not quite it. No, it's more like a deeper resonance, a vibration you feel that tells you, you are in a place meant for love, that has seen so many beautiful stories in it's time.

 

Julia & Alex had their Ceremony at Cranberry Creek, before heading back to Waterloo for their reception. With a few big changes to their wedding day last minute (Alex just started his career as a Firefighter and it made their initial plans untenable) Cranberry Creek came to the rescue and honestly I truly couldn't imagine them getting married anywhere else. Julia wore a stunning vintage dress that fit right in with the vibe of the venue, and their small, intimate guest list made the chapel feel so cozy and together. Though our time at Cranberry Creek was brief, we did our best to take full advantage of the chapel, the grounds and the barn. From a photography standpoint, it really feels like their are infinite possibilities and the sunset and night portraits are something I can't wait to shoot next season.

 

The other thing that really struck me was the kindness and attentiveness of the team at Cranberry Creek. Their Venue Manager Kayleigh was just so welcoming and accommodating, making sure our time spent their was as smooth as possible, and that we new all the prettiest spots for photos. Also, I can't confirm this, but rumor has it that she Line Dances?! I am truly so excited to say that for the 2025 season you will see my name on the list of preferred vendors, and I hope it means I get to spend a lot more time with the whole Cranberry Creek Gardens Team.

Think vintage, quaint, relaxed, understated, elegant... basically anyone who want's a place that can feel like home, while still having an incredible team that truly offers everything you need for a wedding day.
