We really are spoiled in this region for wedding venues, aren’t we? I will be honest, before I started shooting weddings I didn’t know most of these places even existed. Now, I spend my weekends in these gorgeous places enjoying beautiful food and drink and watching happy people totally in love… it really is the best.

Chief among those venues, and definitely the venue I have spent the most time at is the Pearle Hotel & Spa. Run by the aptly named Pearle Weddings, this venue is just such a dreamy place for a wedding. You’ve got tons of beautiful natural light, gorgeous hotel rooms, spacious ceremony and reception spaces and a cafe… yeah, like a real fully functional cafe with amazing food. Dream venue, total Dream Venue.

From a photographers perspective, all that natural light makes the day so much easier, and the photos prove it. The hotel balconies overlook the water and there are so many nice spots for couples and family portraits all around the venue. Inside the venue is the now famous spiral staircase, kind of an essential photo-spot, but also so many little areas to create unique portraits and capture something special on the day.

Now, photos are obviously what I’m most excited about, but I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the food & drink. The cocktail platters I’ve seen come out of this place… like, seriously. I’ll just have to show you. Being vegan, I have been so spoiled with amazing meals from all of the venues run by Pearle, which is not something that I can say about every venue I’ve shot at.

 

The staff are also a huge part of what makes this place such a great wedding venue. From the servers to the bartenders, the concierge and the venue coordinators, every person I haver interacted with has been kind, helpful and really seemed to be enjoying their day. It is such a wonderful thing to see!

So, if you are considering Pearle Hotel & Spa… I don’t blame you. I have enjoyed every minute of my time at their venues and I can’t wait for my next wedding there! Maybe it will be yours?
